Quest for Excellence 2009

Orlando Area Information

Explore Orlando

From theme parks and water parks to boat trips and wildlife tours, or just dinner on the town, Orlando truly has something for everyone.

Join Pet Sitters International in the tropical paradise of Orlando, Florida. We'll be gathering in a resort environment under the glorious Florida sunshine.  You will want to come early, or plan to stay a few extra days to pursue the many Orlando activities time simply won't allow for during our business conference schedule.  While PSI is planning an exciting event with plenty of valuable educational opportunities, you'll certainly want to also take advantage of Orlando-America’s favorite vacation destination. We have found even more offerings that will give you additional reasons to attend Quest 2009--and entice you to stay longer.

Once your meeting has adjourned, a multitude of theme parks, championship golf courses, world-class spas, superb restaurants, captivating museum exhibitions and performing arts, and more than 1,200 retail shops await you. Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway between business sessions or an all-day excursion for your accompanying family or friends, Orlando offers something for every schedule and every interest.

Play Orlando

In a city with so much to offer, where do you start? Orlando is the premiere vacation destination for families and centrally located near many theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, the Kennedy Space Center and Epcot Center. Get doused and play all day at Islands of Adventure and Wet ‘n’ Wild water theme parks. Or go to Daytona Beach for other water sports including canoeing, jet skiing, surfing and scuba diving. What’s your handicap? Tee off at one of the more than 170 golf courses within an hour’s drive of Orlando. Take flight and enjoy an air excursion in a biplane, aboard a balloon or in a hang glider. Go wild at Gatorland, SeaWorld or take an Eco-Safari at Forever Florida. There’s never too much fun.

Tour Orlando

Away from the theme parks and major tourism in Orlando, you will find many historic sites and peaceful spots, together with gardens, fine dining, impressive museums, charming neighborhoods and a major nighttime scene. Escape the frenetic theme park glitz and visit Big Tree Park, Harry P. Leu Gardens or Lake Louisa State Park where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. Stroll down Cocoa Beach, famous for its surf scene, restaurants and shopping.

Orlando also has a number of superb museums and galleries offering interesting information on Orlando’s history and other exhibitions. Take in a night on the town or dance the night away. Orlando boasts a vast array of restaurants and dining choices. The Central Business District (CBD) is perhaps home to the trendiest nightspots with some exclusive café bars and nightclubs.
